Dr. Aldelhelm James MeruFounder and CEO
Is the founder and CEO of the firm. He has immense experience in working with both public and private sectors. Dr. Meru is a retired Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment. He graduated at the Technical University of Sofia in Bulgaria where he attained a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineer in 1986 and PhD in 1990; he is also specialized in International Economic Relations.
Before his present position, Dr. Meru practiced as a Mechanical Engineer at Kilimanjaro Machine Tools in Moshi from 1991 – 1993; in March 1993 he joined Car & General (Kenya) Ltd in Nairobi, where he worked as a Technical Consultant for 3 years. From 1996 to 2003 he served as the Director General of the Tanzania Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) and later in 2006 he was appointed Director General of the Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA). He is one of the founders of the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE). In 2014 he was appointed to be Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism and in 2016 he was appointed as Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment at which he retired in September, 2017. Dr. Meru has a wide experience in investment and industrial development aspects. He serves as a Board Director in several public and private institutions’ Boards and has made several presentations on investment and industrial development at various national and international investment forums.
James Adelhelm MeruOperation Director
James Meru holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (Marketing) from the University of Glamorgan in the United Kingdom and a Master of Business Administration (MBA – Oil and Gas Management) from Coventry University (London Campus) in the United Kingdom. He works at the firm as the Director of Operations.
Before joining the firm, He worked with Tune Hotel in London as a Hotel Marketing Assistant (2012 – 2014); In 2014 he joined Fastjet Airlines where he worked as a Commercial Executive up to 2018.
